This information sheet explains how you can apply to bring your partner to the UK under Appendix FM of the Immigration Rules.
A partner is your (legally) recognised spouse; civil partner; or your unmarried partner with whom you have been in a relationship similar to marriage or civil partnership for at least 2 years.
