This information sheet explains how you can apply to bring your child or close child relative to the UK if you have British citizenship or Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR/Settlement).

A child is your own child (biological or adopted child) who is under 18 years old. A child relative is a child under 18 years old who is in your wider family (e.g. brother, sister, niece, nephew, grandchild and step-child, or another child with whom you have a close relationship with).
