Our colleague Becky Hart spoke to the i on Friday about how little the UK government has done for Afghans seeking to reunite with their families.
Becky highlighted the failure of the UK schemes to provide safe routes for people fleeing Afghanistan following the Taliban takeover in August 2021.
Mr Saeedi, a client of our Afghan Pro Bono Initiative project talks about the excruciating decisions that his family have been forced to make to reach safety. Mr Saeedi and Ms Nazemi’s testimony points out how the existing routes have left their family separated for almost a year now.
