We’re recruiting for a Caseworker/Solcitor to join the RLS London team.
You’ll conduct a small strategic caseload of asylum and refugee family reunion cases and assist on litigation (where eligible) under our legal aid contract.
You’ll also act as the supervising caseworker/lawyer for the Afghan Pro Bono Initiative (APBI). This is a project delivered by RLS with funding and pro bono assistance from leading commercial law firms.
If you’re interested in joining a dedicated casework and community engagement team, and working in a collaborative environment with colleagues who share the same commitment to advancing migrant justice, this could be the role for you!
The full details of the role can be found in the attached brief. The table below includes a summary of the key information.
Interviews will be arranged on a rolling basis, so it’s worth getting your application in soon.
To apply, send a current CV and a cover letter explaining why you’d like to be considered for the role and how your experience matches the person specification to Rebecca at rebecca.haack@refugeelegalsupport.org. Please state “RLS: CASEWORKER/SOLICITOR” in the subject line of your email. The application deadline is midnight on Sunday 23rd May (BST).
